RESOLUTION NO. 2026-43
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET TO
APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE ANNUAL
PREVENTATIVE PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROJECT (CIP
PROJECT NO. 21034)
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Operating and Capital
Improvement Program Budgets on June 9, 2026; and
WHEREAS, amendments must periodically be made to the budget to conform to changed
circumstances following adoption of the budget; and
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget includes full funding for the Sidewalk
Replacement Program (CIP Project No. 24009) and Pavement Rehabilitation Project FY 26-27
(CIP Project No. 21850); and
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget included partial funding for the Annual
Preventative Pavement Maintenance Project (CIP Project No. 21034) in the amount of $460,000;
and
WHEREAS, funding was not fully allocated in the City’s approved FY 2026-2027 Budget
for the Annual Preventative Pavement Maintenance Project (CIP Project No. 21034) thus requiring
a revision to add $115,500 in Public Facilities funds (Fund 510) to cover the remaining cost of the
project; and
WHEREAS, the revised total appropriation for the Annual Preventative Pavement
Maintenance Project (CIP Project No. 21034) amounts to $575,000; and
WHEREAS, the revised appropriation constitutes an update to the FY 2026-2027 Budget
approved pursuant to Resolution No. 2026-31.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rosemead does hereby resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby approves an appropriation in the amount of One
Hundred Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($115,500) in Public Facilities funds (Fund 510)
for the Project.

SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
