RE: PROPOSED BICYCLE MOTOCROSS (B.M.X.) PARK AT THE CITY OWNED
GARVEY PROPERTY, 9108-18 GARVEY AVENUE
At the May 24, 1994 meeting, Agency members listened to a proposal
for a B.M.X. Park at 9108-18 Garvey Avenue. After some discussion,
it was requested that the applicant provide additional information
regarding hours of operation, insurance, number of employees and a
diagram of the track. The applicant, Terry Francis, has provided
this information which is attached for your review. I have also
included a copy of the original memorandum which covers staff's
initial concerns with the proposal.
If the Agency is in favor of the proposal, it would be appropriate to
direct staff to proceed with processing a C.U.P. and drafting an
agreement.
