RE: AUTHORIZATION TO ATTEND 24TH ANNUAL FALL SEMINAR
CALIFORNIA CONTRACT CITIES ASSOCIATION, OCTOBER 1-3, 2004
OXNARD, CALIFORNIA
This year's seminar is being held in Oxnard, between October 1-3, 2004. Although this year's
program has not been fully developed, the main topic of discussion will be water issues.
Speakers will include Metropolitan Water District's Chair, Phil Pace, and the West/Central
Basins Chairpersons and key state legislators who will discuss water supply and demand as well
as recycled water costs and water. implementation.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the attendance of any Council member, City
Manager and staff designee.
