AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD AMENDING
CHAPTER 9.08 OF THE ROSEMEAD
MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section . A new section 9.08. 100 is hereby added to the Rosemead Municipal Code to
read as follows:
9.08.100 Public Urination and Defecation.
(A) It is unlawful for any person within the City of Rosemead to urinate or
defecate upon the public streets, highways, roads, alleys,. parks, playgrounds, or
other public grounds, public places, public buildings, or vacant lots, in any place
open to the public or obviously open to public view, except in a restroom or other
enclosed facility designed for the sanitary disposal of human waste.
(B) It is unlawful for any person within the City of Rosemead to enter into or
remain on private property for the purpose of urinating or defecating, except with
the permission of the lawful occupant in a restroom or other enclosed facility
designed for the sanitary disposal of human waste.
(C) A violation of this section shall be an infraction.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance.
