RE: MAINTENANCE OF CALTRANS FACILITIES
At the September 10, 1985, regular meeting of the City Council
staff was requested to provide an update on the City's progress
in working with CalTrans to maintain that agency's facilities
within the City.
On September 23, 1985, staff is meeting with CalTrans to discuss
the possibility of erecting a solid wall around the maintenance
facility located at 8333 Hellman Avenue.
On September 26, 1985, staff is meeting with CalTrans landscape
architects to discuss the installation of groundcover on Del Mar
Avenue adjacent to the San Bernardino Freeway. Additionally,
staff plans to discuss the maintenance of all on and off ramp areas
within the City.
Staff will provide the City Council with an update on the results
of these meetings.
