FGT:js Attachment A:121190j(1) LAC ^ 1 7 )_CJ iI i !A IN _ i RESOLUTION NO. 90-75 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TO CITIESS ALLOCATION CITY EAREQUESTING AND PAYMENT OF CCOUN FUNDS WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated certain monies to the City of Rosemead as County Aid to cities; and WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has adopted policies limiting the use of said monies to regional traffic SM), and synchronization projects, transportation system management (TM) congestion management (CM) projects that improve regional traffic mobility; or the design, acquisition of right-of-way, and construction of city streets on the County's highway plan which are of ger:eral County interest and regional significance; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expend the amount of $56,210 of said funds accrued to the City for projects in accordance with said policies; and NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rosemead resolves that: Sect- The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to allocate $56,210 of the Aid to cities Funds apportioned to the hment 1 which for the projects listed on Attacwill Angeles improve regional traffic mobility in paccordance with the Los olicy regarding the use of gsaid Aid County Board of supervisors p Y to Cities Funds. The project will eliminate protruding planters and associated parking bays, thereby increasing the effective roadway width of 56 feet to 76 feet between curbs. The project will allow for additional travel lanes on each direction of the roadway.
