RE: STUDY SESSION - RUBBISH FRANCHISE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
It is recommended that the Council schedule a Study Session on
Tuesday, October 30, 1990 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss a draft Request For
Proposal for the Refuse Franchise Agreement. Staff is developing a
document that will address the key elements of AB 939, including
recycling. The next step in the process will be approval of the
` final document by the Council prior to going out to bid in December.
It is still our intent to have the awarding of the franchise on the
Council Agenda the first meeting of April 1991.
