The special meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Armenta
at 5:30 p.m., in the Rosemead City Hall Conference Room located at 8838 E. Valley Boulevard,
Rosemead, CA 91770.
PRESENT: Mayor Armenta, Mayor Pro Tern Low, Council Members Clark and Dang
ABSENT: Council Member Ly

2. MATTERS FROM MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL

A. Interviews and Appointments for
Recommendation: That the City Council discuss and make appointments to the City
Commissions.
The City Council interview the following applicants for various City
Commissions:
• Alexander Lang — Planning, Traffic & Public Safety Commissions
• Emma Escobar — Planning Commissions
• Jake Trieu Parks & Traffic Commissions
• Jason Vaquez Parks, Planning & Traffic Commissions
• Lana Ung,_— Planning Commission
• _ Michael Wong Parks & Planning Commissions
Mayor Armenia stated that since there were multiple applicants interviewing for
more than one Commission, the City Council would discuss and make the
appointments after the last of the Commission Interviews at the August 25, 2026,
Mayor Armenta adjourned the special meeting at 7:33 p.m.
