The special meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Armenta
at 5:36 p.m., in the Rosemead City Hall Conference Room located at 8838 E. Valley Boulevard,
Rosemead, CA 91770.
PRESENT: Mayor Armenta, Mayor Pro Tern Low, Council Members Clark and Dang
ABSENT: Council Member Ly

The City Council discussed and made appointments to each respective Commission
that interviewed on August 241h and August 251n
ACTION: Moved by Mayor Pro Tern Low and seconded by Council Member Dang
to reappoint and newly appoint the following applicants to a two-year term ending
June 30, 2028, on the respective commissions:
• Beautification Commission: Can Liu and Sarah Florez
• Parks Commission: Michael Vuong and Pauline Vu
• Planning Commission: Emma Escobar and Lana Ung
• Public Safety Commission: Amy Wu (Business Representative) and Liz
Fonseca (Resident)
• Traffic Commission: Alexander Lang and Jake Trieu
The motion was carried out by the following roll call vote AYES: Armenta, Clark,
Dang, and Low NOES: None ABSENT: Ly
