RE: REQUEST FROM ROSEMEAD CHAPTER #430 ORDER OF THE EASTERN STAR
TO PLANT A TREE IN MEMORY OF STUART H. MAUDE
Attached for your consideration is a letter from Betty Abshier,
representing Rosemead Chapter #430 of the Masons, requesting that the
City plant a tree at one our parks in memory of Stuart H. Maude.
They have voluntereed to pay from up to $150 to the City to cover the
cost of the tree and the plaque.
If the Council approves the request, it would be appropriate to
direct staff to work out the details with the Chapter representatives
and schedule a dedication ceremony.
