RE: REQUEST FROM ROSEMEAD SOROPTOMIST FOR THE USE OF CITY
FACILITIES ON MAY 29, 1992
Attached for your consideration is a request from the Soroptomist
International of Rosemead for the use of the quad area between City
Hall and the Rosemead Library on Friday, May 29, 1992 between the
hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. As the letter indicates, it will
1 be a salad luncheon fund raiser and all proceeds will be given to the
San Gabriel Valley Family Counseling Teen Mother program.
It is recommended that the Rosemead City Council authorize the use of
the facility.

Dear Mayor and Council Members
Soroptimist International of Rosemead requests the use of the
'quad' area between City Hall and the Rosemead Library, on May 29th
between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The club is planning a salad luncheon fundraiser. All proceeds
will be given to the San Gabriel Family Counseling "Teen Mother
Program".
In addition to the space we would appreciate the use of 5 long
tables and 50 folding chairs. This is the first time we have tried
this type of fundraiser, but we feel it can be an enjoyable event
for the local business people and shoppers in the area.
