At that time, the City Council approved the Traffic Commission recommendation with the exception of 100' feet of red curb. Subsequently, staff contacted Traffic Operations and resolved that matter. Administrative Assistant Wilkinson stated that Councilman Taylor was concerned that with such a large stretch of red curb that it may take away from parking for the adjacent neighbors. Speaking before the Commission was: Barbara Larson Ms. Larson stated that the signs were installed and people were still parking there, then the curb was painted red and cars stopped parking there.
