MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING BATE._
ROSEMEAD CITY COUNCIL
MARCH 18, 2003
The special meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Bruesch at 7:00
p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 8838 E. Valley Boulevard, California.
The Pledge to the Flag was led by Councilman Imperial
The Invocation was delivered by Mayor Bruesch
ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS:
Present: Councilmembers Clark, Imperial, Taylor, Mayor Pro Tern Vasquez
And Mayor Bruesch
Absent: None
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - NONE

H. GENERAL ELECTION MATTERS
RESOLUTION NO. 2003-07 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA,
RECITING THE FACT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
HELD ON MARCH 4, 2003, DECLARING THE RESULT AND SUCH
OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY LAW
The following Resolution was presented to the Council for adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2003-07
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD,
CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE •FACT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD ON MARCH 4, 2003, DECLARING THE RESULT AND
SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY LAW
MOTION BY COUNCILMEMBER CLARK, SECOND BY MAYOR PRO TEM
VASQUEZ that the Council adopt Resolution No. 2003-07. Vote resulted:

B. ADMINISTRATION OF OATH OF OFFICE AND ISSUANCE OF
CERTIFICATES OF ELECTION
The City Clerk administered the Oath of Office to Jay Imperial and Gary Taylor and
presented them with their Certificates of Election.
Mayor Bruesch congratulated Councilmen Imperial and Taylor.
M. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned in support of the fighting troops and in memory of Jared
Allen, daughter-in-law's brother of Mary Jo Maxwell's, Chamber Executive Director.
There being no further action to be taken at this time, the meeting was adjourned at 7:10
p.m. The next regular meeting will be held on March 25, 2003, at 8:00 p.m
