Minutes February 27, 2007 - Regular Meeting C. Mixed-Use Development Projects Update Over the past several years, mixed-use projects have become a popular type of development in Southern California cities. This can be attributed to high land values, the demand for housing, and the lack of developable land in urbanized areas. The City of Rosemead is experiencing a similar trend. Currently, there are several mixed-use development projects that are in the preliminary phases of our entitlement process. A summary of the five major mixed-use projects proposed in the City of Rosemead is submitted for Commission consideration. Project locations include: 7801-7825 Garvey Avenue, 8479 Garvey Avenue, 9400-9412 Valley Blvd, 9016 Guess Street and 3212-3232 Del Mar Avenue.
