SUMMARY
On June 26, 2007, the Rosemead Community Development Commission directed that a Request For
Qualifications (RFQ) be distributed by the City Attorney to solicit firms to provide legal counsel services for
land use, housing, and redevelopment related functions.
A total of five (5) firms offered responses to the RFQ by the 5:00 p.m. submission deadline on July 16,
2007. Those five firms, listed in alphabetical order, include the following:
• Alvarez-Glasman & Colvin
• Best, Best & Krieger
• Burke, Williams & Sorensen
• Kane, Ballmer & Berkman
• Richards, Watson, Gershon
Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Community Development Commission provide direction regarding the selection
of legal counsel to provide land use, housing, and redevelopment related services.
ANALYSIS
Each firm submitted a proposal as specified in the RFQ, copies of which have been attached for the
Commission's review.
