CDC - Minutes 09-14-04NOT OFFICIAL UNTIL APPROVED BY THE ROSEMEAD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING ROSEMEAD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION SEPTEMBER 14, 2004 The regular meeting of the Rosemead Community Development Commission was called to order by Chairman Clark at 7:00 p.m. in the conference room of City Hall, 8838 E. Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California. The Pledge to the flag was led by Commissioner Vasquez. The Invocation was delivered by Commissioner Alarcon. ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS: Present: Commissioners Alarcon, Vasquez, Taylor, Vice-Chairman Imperial, Chairman Clark Absent: None APPROVAL OF MINUTES: NONE 1. CDC RESOLUTION NO. 2004-14 CLAIMS AND DEMANDS The following Resolution was presented to the Agency for adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2004-14 CLAIMS AND DEMANDS A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD ALLOWING CERTAIN CLAIMS AND DEMANDS IN THE SUM OF $59,258.46 AND DEMANDS NO. 7428 THROUGH 7443 MOTION BY COMMISSIONER TAYLOR, SECOND BY VICE-CHAIRMAN IMPERIAL that the Commission adopt Resolution No. 2004-14. Vote resulted: Aye: Alarcon, Vasquez, Clark, Imperial, Taylor No: None Absent: None Abstain: None The Chairman declared said motion duly carried and so ordered. 2. MATTERS FROM OFFICIALS Chairman Clark asked if there is an ordinance regarding alarms that go off continually. Mrs. Clark stated that she had to call the Sheriffs last night because an alarm would go off and on, and is there any way of imposing a fine on a business or vehicle owner for repeated offenses. RCDCMIN:9-14-03 Page # I Mayor Clark continued that this is very annoying as the business or vehicle owners just let the alarms ring. Brad Johnson, Planning Director, replied that other cities have ordinances in place that warns the owners for the first three offenses, after that, the owner is fined. Commissioner Taylor asked when the transcripts would be available from the Council/Commission Public Hearing on September 7, 2004. The consensus was that it will take approximately three weeks or more. 3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE ON COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MATTERS - None 4.
