APPROVAL OF MINUTES: NOVEMBER 9, 2004 -REGULAR MEETING
l/ RESOLUTION NO. 2004-22 CLAIMS AND DEMANDS
Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 2004-22 for payment of
Commission expenditures.
2. APPROVAL OF COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION FOR
RECONSTRUCTION OF HELLMAN AVENUE BRIDGE OVER
5 ~d ALHAMBRA WASH
This is an agreement between the City of Rosemead and the Rosemead
Community Development Commission to jointly undertake the
reconstruction of Hellman Avenue Bridge over the Alhambra Wash. The
City will be the lead agency.
Recommendation: Approve the Agreement.
3. SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING FOR GARVEY POOL AND
ROSEMEAD POOL REHABILITATION PROJECTS
The City has acquired two State Grants to rehabilitate Rosemead and
Garvey Pool Bathhouses. However, the Grants do not allow for the cost
to rebuild the staff restroom at Garvey Pool, nor to rebuild the small
kitchen at Rosemead Pool. It would be advantageous to provide for these
two items using Community Development Commission funds to enable
them to be included in the overall remodeling projects.
Recommendation: Appropriate $50,000 from its Unappropriated
Reserve to provide for the cost of these two items.
