Recommendation: Approve Resolution No. 2000-25, for payment of Agency
expenditures.

PAYMENT FOR ASPHALT CONCRETE OVERLAY ON VARIOUS
STREETS (FY 2000-01)
By adopting this resolution, the Rosemead Redevelopment Agency finds that
Redevelopment Agency payment for a portion of the project benefits Project Area
No. 1, there are no other reasonable means of financing, and that the project will
eliminate blighting conditions by providing a "new" street appearance on
roadways within and adjacent to the project area, thus enhancing the value of
abutting properties.

n J 3. APPROVAL OF ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ONYX
l ARCHITECTS, INC. (FORMERLY BAHR VERMEER & HAECKER) FOR
EXPANSION AND REMODEL OF CITY HALL
Agency will consider an agreement for architectural services for the construction
of additional Council and staff offices on the west end of the existing City Hall. It
also covers interior remodeling and renovations. The estimated cost is $1,147,468
which includes $928,968 in construction costs and $218,500 in architect and
engineering fees.
Recommendation: Approve the agreement.
P APPROVAL OF ENGINEERING PROPOSAL TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING
SERVICES FOR ASPHALT CONCRETE OVERLAY AND VARIOUS
STREETS FY 2000-01
This proposal provides for engineering design and construction management
services for street resurfacing on various streets.
Recommendation: Approve the engineering proposal; and direct staff to begin
the preparation of the necessary plans and specifications.
