APPROVAL OF MINUTES: FEBRUARY 8, 2000 -REGULAR MEETING ✓
I. RESOLUTION NO. 2000-03 - CLAIMS AND DEMANDS
Recommendation: Approve Resolution No. 2000-03, for payment of Agency
expenditures.
2. AUTHORIZATION TO GRANT EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES AT 2642 NEW AVENUE
On January 25, 2000, the Agency approved the sale of surplus land at 2642 New
Avenue to the Garvey School District. As part of the documentation for the
transfer of this property, a 16-foot easement is needed for road and public utility
purposes in order that the existing street and sidewalk improvement remain under
the jurisdiction of the City of Rosemead.
Recommendation: The Agency grant the easement to the City of Rosemead and
Authorize the Chairman to sign the easement deed.
ACCEPTANCE OF WORK FOR STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS
IN KELBURN AND DELTA AVENUES
Storm drain in Kelburn Avenue (Emerson Place/Dorothy Avenue) and in Delta
Avenue (Earle Avenue/Dorothy Avenue) have been constructed in conformance
with the approved plans and specifications.
Recommendation: Accept the project, authorize recordation of the Notice of
Completion by the City clerk, and authorize release of the retention payment 35
days after the date of the Notice of Completion.
