APPROVAL OF MINUTES: NONE
1. RESOLUTION NO. 2000-05 - CLAIMS AND DEMANDS
Recommendation: Approve Resolution No. 2000-05, for payment of Agency
expenditures.
2. RESOLUTION NO. 2000-06 - AUTHORIZING TRANSMITTAL OF
THE PRELIMINARY REPORT FOR ROSEMEAD
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA NO. 2
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Agency adopt the attached
Resolution authorizing transmittal of the Preliminary Report for Project Area No.
2.
3. CALTRANS PARCEL AT WALNUT GROVE AND HELLMAN
AVENUES
'v Caltrans has declared the former maintenance yard at the corner of Walnut
Grove and Hellman Avenues as excess property and has offered to sell it
to the City.
Recommendation: It is not required that the City own the parcel in order for the
site to be utilized to make modifications to the off-ramp. In order to make
modifications that would be cost effective, it would be necessary to condemn
homes on Artson Street. Therefore, unless the Agency has another specific use
for the site, we recommend no further action..
4- ACCEPTANCE OF WORK FOR CITY HALL FOUNTAIN
REHABILITATION.
The City Hall fountain has been rehabilitated in conformance with the approved
plans and specifications.
Recommendation: Accept the project, authorize recordation of the Notice of
Completion by the Agency Secretary, and authorize release of the retention
payment 35 days after the date of the Notice of Completion.
