A RESOLUTION OF THE ROSEMEAD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
ADOPTING OWNER PARTICIPATION AND PREFERENCES RULES AND THE
METHOD OF RELOCATION FOR ROSEMEAD REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
AREA NO. 2.
WHEREAS, the Rosemead Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency ") has initiated a
Redevelopment Plan for - Rosemead Redeveld - c
p pmeht Project Area No. 2 (the " Redevelopment
Project "); and
WHEREAS, Section 33339.5 of the California Health and Safety Code (the "Code"
hereinafter) requires the Agency to adopt Rules Governing Participation and Preferences by
Owners, Operators of Businesses and Tenants (hereinafter "Owner Participation Rules "); and
WHEREAS, Section 33411 of the Code requires that the Agency prepare - a feasible
method or plan for relocation of families or persons to be temporarily or permanently displaced
from with the Project Area, irrespective of whether any displacement of residents, businesses or
others is anticipated; and

WHEREAS, Section 7260 et seq. of the Government Code requires a public entity to
provide relocation advisory assistance to any person, business, or farm operation displaced
because of the acquisition of real property - for public use;.and - -___
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVE by th e Rosemead Redevelopment

SECTION 1: The document entitled "Owner Participation and Preferences - Rules for the
Rosemead Redevelopment Project Area No. 2" and the document entitled "Relocation Method for
the Rosemead Redevelopment Project Area No. 2" are hereby adopted.
SECTION 3: The Executive Director of the Agency is he reby a and directed to
transmit'to the "City "Co`uncil the above described documents.-- -- - - "-

13th day of June 2000.
