RESOLUTION NO. 2000-21 - CLAIMS AND DEMANDS FOR FY
1999-2000
Recommendation: Approve Resolution No. 2000-21, for payment of Agency
expenditures.
2. LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT'S PROPOSAL - NEW AUTOMATIC
IRRIGATION SYSTEM AT ROSEMEAD PARK
This year's budget allocates $375,400 to install a new automatic irrigation system.
To implement the project, an architectural proposal for professional services has
been acquired from S. Roy Kato Associates, Landscape Architects.
Recommendation: Approve the Agreement and authorize the Chairman to
execute the Agreement.
APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZATION TO GO TO BID - GARVEY SENIOR HOUSING
AND COMMUNITY CENTER PROJECT, PROJECT MANAGEMENT
SERVICES AND CHANGE ORDER POLICY
At various times, the Agency has reviewed plans for a 72-unit Senior Housing
Complex and Community Center at 9118 Garvey Avenue. The $10 million
Project will be funded with a combination of Redevelopment Agency Housing
funds, Park Bond funds, and Community Development Block Grant funds. Staff'
is requesting approval of plans and specifications and authorization to go to bid.
Construction is estimated to take up to 16 months after award of bid.

Recommendation: Approve the plans and specifications and authorize
advertisement for bids by the City Clerk, a change order policy; and approve
GRC, on a time and material basis, as the project manager/owner's representative,
services for the duration of the project during the bid, construction, opening and
lease-up phases of the project.
