Our office has also been available, on occasion, for city staff to help with customers service requests Survey of Current Office Use We have monitored the current activity of our office from July 1999 to September 1999. The survey gave us a better understanding of the level of service necessary to meet the needs of the residents of Rosemead and the staffing requirement of the office. The survey also shows that an average of 6 cash/check transactions were recorded during the month. These transactions were a result of mail or walk-in customers. Also, an average of 114 telephone call per month were received by the office for various service related issues. In contrast, in our main office our customers service representatives handle anywhere from 80 to 150 call daily. Proposed New Service Days We therefor respectfully request to reduce the operating hours of our office in the City of Rosemead to the following: ■ Beginning of the week of February 1, 2000 the office will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office will be closed Monday, Wednesday & Friday. ■ Walk-in customers can deliver payments directly to a drop box located on door entering our office on the days the office is closed. ■ There will be no interruptions of posting of customer payments.
