RE: ACCEPTANCE OF EASEMENT DEED FOR STREET PURPOSES-
2642 NEW AVENUE
Attached is an easement deed for road and public utility purposes for 2642 New Avenue.
The easement deed provides for the dedication of 16 feet of right-of-way along the Egley
Avenue frontage of the subject property. Egley Avenue is fully improved with curb, gutter
and sidewalk in this area. As part of the documentation for the transfer of the subject
property from the Rosemead Redevelopment Agency to the Garvey School District, this
dedication is required in order that the street and sidewalk improvements to remain under
the jurisdiction of the City of Rosemead as public right-of-way.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council accept the attached document.
