RE: AUTHORIZATION TO ATTEND ANNUAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
PLANNING CONFERENCE, MAY 4-6,2000, PALM SPRINGS
This year's conference will be held at the Riviera Hotel in Palm Springs. The conference
provides the City with an opportunity to brief the Chamber on the City's goals and objectives for
fiscal year 2000 -01. The Chamber has the opportunity to use that information in establishing it's
own set of goals and objectives. The Council attends every year and it has proven to be of
benefit to both the City and the Chamber.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Rosemead City Council authorize the attendance of any
Councilmember, the City Manager and staff as designated by the City Manager.
