TRIPEPI, CITY MANAGER FROM: KEN RUKAVINA, CITY ENGINEER DATE: MAY 17, 2000 RE: ACCEPTANCE OF EASEMENT DEED FOR STREET PURPOSES- 2412 STRATHMORE AVENUE Attached is an easement deed for road and public utility purposes for 2412 Strathmore Avenue. The street dedication is being submitted as a requirement of PM 25478. The existing sidewalk does not have adequate width to comply with the ADA. Therefore, the dedication is required to obtain the necessary right-of-way to comply with City standards for arterial streets. Pursuant to the Subdivision Map Act, the subject parcel map does not require City Council approval. RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Council accept the attached document and direct the City Clerk to record the deed together with the certification of acceptance.
