A. / RESOLUTION NO. 2002-19 -CLAIMS AND DEMANDS
Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 2002-19, for payment of City
expenditures.
CONSENT CALENDAR -RECOMMENDATION: APPROVAL- G ~
'40 CC SA APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZATION TO SEEK BIDS FOR 2001-2002 SLURRY SEAL
PROJECT ON VARIOUS CITY STREETS
This project provides for a slurry seal coat on various streets throughout
the City to maintain the pavement surface.
Recommendation: Approve the Plans and Specifications and authorize
advertisement for bids by the City Clerk.

jcy CC-B CITY MANAGER DESIGNATE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT
/ For Council consideration is an employment agreement with Bill Crowe.
Recommendation: Approve Agreement.
/ CC-C SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER
Consideration of salary adjustment for Assistant City Manager.
The San Gabriel School District, in conjunction with the City, provides
lunches to participants 18 years of age and younger at Rosemead and
Garvey Parks and various other recreation sites during the summer.
Recommendation: Approve the Agreement and authorize its execution
by the Mayor.
Q ► ~CC-E UTHORIZATION TO ALLOCATE JUVENILE ACCOUNTABILITY
INCENTIVE BLOCK GRANT FUNDS TO THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE
The District Attorney annually requests that Rosemead assign our JAIBG
funding to the District Attorney's Office to support on-going enforcement
programs serving Rosemead's serious juvenile offenders.
Recommendation: Approve allocation of Juvenile Accountability
Incentive Block Grant Funds, in the amount of $11,000 to the District
Attorney's Office and authorize City Manager to sign documents.
