APPROVAL OF MINUTES: OCTOBER 8, 2002 - REGULAR MEETING

IV. CONSENT CALENDAR-'RECOMMENDATION: APPROVAL
CC-A REQUEST FOR RED CURB AT THE fNTERSECTION OF MARSHALL
STREET AND IVAR AVENUE
Due to visibility concerns at the intersection of Marshall Street and Ivar Avenue,
the City Council will consider approval of the Traffic Commission
recommendation for the installation of red curb at the northeast and northwest
corners of this intersection.
Recommendation: Approve Traffic Commission's recommendation.
CC-B APPROVAL OF UNDERTAKING AGREEMENT FOR PARCEL MAP 26570,
3049-3103 DEL MAR AVENUE
The applicant for Parcel Map 26570 has submitted an Undertaking Agreement
and Certificate of Deposit to guarantee the construction of miscellaneous right-of-
way improvements, i.e. curb, gutter, sidewalk and driveways, and for the
installation of survey monuments subsequent to the recordation of the parcel map.
Pursuant to the Subdivision Map Act, the subject parcel map does not require City
Council approval.
Recommendation: Approve the Undertaking Agreement.
CC-C AUTHORIZATION TO ATTEND LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES
MAYORS AND COUNCILMEMBERS INSTITUTE PART 1, JANUARY 8-10,
2003, SACRAMENTO
This year's sessions will include Ethics, Conflicts of Interest, Open Meetings and
the Brown Act, Land Use Planning and Financial Oversight Responsibilities.
Recommendation:, Authorize the attendance of any Councilmember, City
of both houses, as
well as staff from the Governor's Office.
Recommendation: Authorization the attendance of any Council member, City
Manager, City Attorney and staff designee.
CC-E PURCHASE OF ONE E-350 SUPER-DUTY EXTENDED WAGON XL/531
Funds were allocated to purchase a replacement unit for the Parks and Recreation
1992 Ford Van (Unit 931). Bids were received and opened on November 14,
2002.
Recommendation: Approve the low bid of El Monte Ford and authorize staff to
proceed with the purchase. -
