TRIPEPI, CITY MANAGE DATE: RE: RELEASE OF BONDS — TRACT 52575 3331 BURTON AVENUE A Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor Bond and Material Bond were required to guarantee construction of a publicly maintained sewer, sewer laterals and right of way improvements. In lieu of bonds, an Irrevocable Letter of Credit was issued to the City in the amount of $118,500. The improvements have been installed satisfactorily. The City Engineer has inspected the improvements and has found them to be installed satisfactorily. Attached are the undertaking agreement, required surety, and a location map. RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Council release the Letter of Credit and accept the public sewer improvement. All of said liabilities shall be assumed by the CONTRACTOR.
