Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 2000 -41, for payment of City expenditures.
IV. CONSENT CALENDAR -RECOMMENDATION: APPROVAL
CC -A APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION
V TO SEEK BIDS FOR 1999 -2000 SLURRY SEAL PROJECT ON VARIOUS
CITY STREETS
This project provides for a slurry seal coat on various streets throughout the City and at
City Hall parking lot to maintain the pavement surface.
Recommendation: Approve the plans and specifications and authorize advertisement
for bids by the City Clerk.

CONGRESS OF CITIES EXPOSITION, DECEMBER 5-9,2000, BOSTON,

This year's program includes sessions on Communications, Dispute Resolution,
Public Policy, Marketing Your City, and Innovations of Development
Recommendation: Authorize the attendance of any Councilmember, City
Attorney, City Manager and staff designee.

Recommendation: Authorize the attendance of any Councilmember, City
Attorney, City Manager and staff designee.
CC -D AB 779 (TORLAKSON) — INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT: TRANSIT
VILLAGE PLANS — OPPOSE
AB 799 (Torlakson) preempts local land use authority by legislating density
bonus entitlements in areas surrounding transit facilities.
Recommendation: Oppose AB 799
