The Hyatt Regency Hotel across from the Capitol, will once again serve as our conference headquarters. We urge all members of the Association to attend. We want our concerns _ to be considered and we are counting on your support. This may be the most critical year for the Contract Cities and local government in general. We are certain that the states budget woes are not over. They likely will escalate and impact local government. The history of this tour has proven to be effective in not only developing relationships with our legislators but it also provides us with the opportunity for face to face contact and a vehicle for open discussion on pertinent issues. The program will include small meetings with newly elected and returning legislators; coffee sessions with members of the State Senate and Assembly Leadership; and a reception in the Capitol Rotunda.
