May 3, 2001 Steve Bailey Building Official, City of Rosemead P.O.Box 399 Rosemead CA 91770 Re: 8940 112 Cortada St. Rosemead CA 91770 Dear Steve Bailey, My attorney and I met with you and your staff on April 10, 2001 to address the previously noted building code violations pertaining to the aforementioned house. Based upon the issues discussed, please note the following: A. I have retained the services of a building contractor to help me with this house. B. I am working on a time line with the contractor in order to facilitate the completion of this work. C. I phoned the Gas Company, and they inspected the gas line to the back house. They found no safety problems with the service to the back house (see attached inspection tag dated 4/26/01). Respectfully, Timothy L. Stanley P.O.Box 6172 Rosemead CA 91770
