Recommendation: Approve Resolution No. 2001-25, for payment of
Agency expenditures.

~C AUTHORIZATION TO SEEK BIDS FOR WALNUT GROVE AVENUE
BRIDGE REPAIRS OVER ALHAMBRA WASH
This project provides for the reconstruction of the pavement joints in the
Walnut Grove Avenue Bridge over the Alhambra Wash.

Recommendation: Approve the plans and specifications and authorize
advertisement for bids by the Agency Secretary.

DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL FOR MCDONALD'S
DRIVE-TI-I ROUGH RESTAURANT TO BE LOCATED AT 8548 EAST
VALLEY BOULEVARD
McDonald's Corporation is proposing to present plans for a stand-alone
restaurant building before the property owner finalizes plans for any
additional structure on the site. However, due to the stringent 1:50
parking ratio required under the zoning ordinance; the applicant will need
to process a parking variance application to request a ratio of 1:100 (44
parking stalls).
Recommendation: That the Agency find that the proposed drive-through
McDonald's Restaurant is in conformance with the Redevelopment
Project Area No. 2 Plan and allow the applicant to proceed with all
necessary applications through the Planning Department.
