Recommendation: Approve Resolution No. 01-06, for payment of
Agency expenditures.
2. EXTENSION OF PRL-NEGOTIATION AGREEMENT LETTER
BETWEEN THE ROSEMEAD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
AND JR PROPERTIES
On February 27, 2001, the Agency authorized [lie Executive Director to
sign a pre-negotiation agreement between JR Propcr[ies and the Agency.
The purpose of the agreement was to provide .IR Properties an exclUSiVe
period of time, Until March 30°i, to secure approval of Kroger Corporation,
the parent corporation of Ralphs/Food 4 Less, for [he development of the
6+ acre site at the northeast corner of Temple City Boulevard and Valley
Boulevard. They are requesting an extension to April 20'x'..

Recommendation: Authorize the extension ofthe letter and direct the
D Executive Director to sign the extension letter.
3. DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL FOR A MC DONALD'S RESTAURANT
WITH INDOOR PLAYPLACE'I O 13E LOCATED AT 8548 EAST
VALLEY BOULEVARD
A request by McDonald's Corporation to construct a one-story 3,567
square foot restaurant with a drive-through and indoor playplace to be
located at the southwest corner of Valley BoUlevard and Walnut Grove
Avenue, 8548 Valley BoUlevard.
Recommendation: It is recommended that this item be continued to the
April 24, 2001, Rosemead Redevelopment Agency, so that the appraisal
can be completed.
