Recommendation: Approve Resolution No. 01 -04, for payment of

INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS WITHIN ROSEMEAD
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA NO. 2

The current Redevelopment Plan for Project Area No. 2 does not provide
for automatic review of development proposals within the project area, but
it authorizes the Agency to establish procedures to do that. Resolution 01-
05 will establish plan review procedures for large scale commercial and
industrial projects within Project Area No. 2.
Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 01 -05
ACQUISITION OF 4016 TEMPLE CITY BOULEVARD
(WEATHERITE ROOFING PROPERTY)
The attorney for the aforementioned property has written a letter to the
Agency advising them that Weatherite Roofing has relocated its business
to El Monte in anticipation of development of that area, and the property
owner now wants to sell or lease the property to the Agency or to another
user.
Recommendation: That the Agency grant conceptual approval for
acquisition of 4016 Temple City Boulevard at its appraised value and
instruct Agency Counsel to negotiate an acquisition agreement with the
property owner which, when completed, will be submitted to the Agency
Board for approval.
