OCTOBER 2-4, 2001, PALM SPRINGS
This year's topics include the Economy, Empty Stores, Entitlements
and the Trade Exposition.
Recommendation: Approve the attendance of any Agencymember,

4. CONSIDERATION OF EXCLUSIVE NEGOTIATING AGREEMENT
BETWEEN JR PROPERTIES AND ROSEMEAD REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A FOOD-4-LESS
SHOPPING CENTER AT TEMPLE CITY BOULEVARD AND
VALLEY BOULEVARD
Approval of this agreement will allow JR Properties and the Agency 180
days to determine the feasibility of the project and enter into a disposition
and development agreement (DDA) for the development of the site as a
Food-4-Less shopping center. Prior to agreeing to a DDA, the Agency
will negotiate a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with
JR Properties setting forth the terms of the DDA This MOU will be
brought to the Agency for approval.
Recommendation: Approve agreement and authorize the Executive
Director to execute the Exclusive Negotiating Agreement (ENA) on behalf
of the Agency.
