ANALYSIS The Expense and Use of Public Resources Policy, adopted by City Council Resolution No. 2005 -47, requires prior City Council approval for out -of -state travel beyond an adjacent state. Funding for this purpose is contained in the City's annual budget. PUBLIC NOTICE PROCESS This item has been noticed through the regular agenda notification process. Meeting Dear Gloria, While I have not put together the official agenda for the upcoming EENR steering committee meeting, I can share a rough outline and some of the topics that will be discussed. Thursday afternoon - optional tour of the Florida Everglades. Committee members will hear about threats and conservation efforts to this natural resource. Friday - the committee will meet all day. Speakers and discussion topics will include climate change adaptation and resiliency, impacts on water resources and infrastructure, sea level rise and specific impacts on the state of Florida. Saturday - the committee will meet until noon. Committee members will discuss and review changes to the NLC National Municipal Policy and make recommendations on each of the existing resolutions. Committee members will also engage in a dialogue with NLC staff on resources and recommendations for the Sustainable Cities Institute.
