The NALEO organization has granted an Educational Fund to Council Member Armenta and the City will only cover the expense of a one day hotel stay. Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the attendance of Council Member Sandra Armenta to the NALEO — National Policy Institute.on Emergency Response and Management in Orlando, FL. ANALYSIS The Expense and Use of Public Resources Policy, adopted by City Council Resolution No. 2005 -47, requires prior City Council approval for out -of -state travel beyond an adjacent state. Funding for this purpose is contained in the City's annual budget. PUBLIC NOTICE PROCESS This item has been noticed through the regular agenda notification process.
