November 19, 2013
The Special Meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Low at 6:02 p.m. in the
Garvey Community Center located at 9108 Garvey Avenue, Rosemead, California.
PRESENT: Mayor Low, Mayor Pro Tern Alarcon, Council Members Armenta, Clark, and Ly
ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Allred, City Attorney Richman, Assistant City Manager Hawkesworth,
Director of Community Development Ramirez, Director of Parks and Recreation Montgomery- Scott, Director
of Public Works Marcarello, and City Clerk Molleda
1. PUBLIC COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE
The City Council will receive public comments on matters not listed on the agenda.
2. WORKSHOP TO UPDATE THE STRATEGIC PLAN FOR 2014 AND 2015
The City Council will meet with the executive management team to review and discuss the City's
Strategic Plan and begin the development of updated strategies and action items that support
organizational goals and Vision 2020.
Don St. Clair and Janet McIntyre facilitated a discussion of ideas and issues to update the City's Strategic
Plan for 2014 and 2015.
Council Member Margaret Clark left the meeting at 7:39 p.m.
Mayor Polly Low recessed the meeting at 7:44 p.m. and reconvened the meeting at 7:54 p.m.
2. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 8:39 p.m.
