ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND
LUCHENG DISTRICT OF WENZHOU CITY OF ZHEJIANG PROVINCE IN THE
PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA ON THE ESTABLDIMENT OF A COOPERATIVE
EXCHANGE RELATIONSHIP
According to the principles of the joint communique published when diplomatic
relations was established between the United States of America and China, the City of
Rosemead, California in the United States of America and Lucheng District of Wenzhou City
of Zhejiang Province of the People's Republic of China have decided to establish a friendly
exchange relationship for the purpose of further increasing friendship and understanding
between the people of the United States and China and intensifying and developing friendly
cooperation and exchange.
The City of Rosemead and Lucheng District hereby agree as follows:
L On the basis of equality and mutual beneft, the two parties to this agreement will
cooperate in various fields of interest including economics, trade, science and technology,
culture, sports, public health, education and human resources.
2. The leaders and related departments of the two parties will endeavor to keep in touch
and discuss potential matters of cooperation, exchange and issues of common concern.
This agreement will be published in duplicate in the English and Chinese languages, and
both texts will be deemed to be equally authentic.
This agreement shall go into effect from the date of signing by officials of both parties.
