SUBJECT: INTERNATIONAL CITY MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE — SEPTEMBER

SUMMARY
The City Council will consider authorizing attendance to the International City
Management Association Conference in Seattle, WA on September 27th — September
30th
Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the attendance, at City expense, of the
Assistant City Manager to attend the International City Management Association
Conference in Seattle, WA.
ANALYSIS
The Expense and Use of Public Resources Policy, adopted by City Council Resolution
No. 2005-47, requires prior City Council approval for out-of-state travel beyond an
adjacent state. Funding for this purpose is contained in the City's annual budget.
