SUBJECT: AUTHORIZED SIGNERS ON BANK ACCOUNTS
SUMMARY
The City of Rosemead (City) and the Successor Agency for the Rosemead Community
Development Commission (Successor Agency) require several different bank accounts
to efficiently operate financial matters. Authorized signers on both the City's and the
Successor Agency's accounts include all City Council members, the Mayor, the Mayor
Pro Tem, the City Manager, the Assistant City Manager and the City Clerk. When new
people replace incumbents, bank signature cards must be completed.
Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution No. 2015-43 and Successor .
Agency Resolution No. 2015-15 authorizing the Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem, City Council
members, City Manager and Assistant City Manager as signers on the City's bank
accounts at Bank of the West. See Attachment A for named signers.
Staff also recommends with the resignation of our former City Clerk, it is necessary to
remove the name of our former City Clerk from the account until a replacement City
Clerk can be appointed. In addition, since our Councilman, Steven Ly, will be on
Military Leave until the end of the year, we will remove him from our accounts until he
returns.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD,
CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, MAYOR PRO TEM, CITY
COUNCIL MEMBERS, THE CITY MANAGER AND ASSISTANT CITY
MANAGER AND AS SIGNERS ON THE CITY'S BANK ACCOUNTS AT
BANK OF THE WEST
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemead established several bank accounts at Bank of
the West, and
WHEREAS, the Bank of the West Bank account numbers are 689009769,
689052942, and 689059475, and,
WHEREAS, from time to time Council members are elected or lose elections and
staff is hired or terminate their employment with the City, bank signature cards need to
be updated to reflect only those persons currently authorized as signers on the account,
and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has terminated employment and her name needs to
be removed from these accounts and also Councilman Steven Ly is on Military Leave
and his name needs to be removed from these accounts,
NOW THEREFORE, The City of Rosemead does hereby authorize the following
Council Members and employees of the City listed in Attachment A as signers on the
above account:
