Below are the signatures for petition to oppose the beer & wine
license type 20 for location 9701 Valley Blvd Rosemead Ca 91770.
Residence living around this location are already not happy. The reason
being is there is already too many liquor store markets and 7 Eleven stores
with beer and wine within a one mile radius. The residents do not
understand that why the City of Rosemead even accepted the application .
for beer & wine at this location. There are more than over 800 students
walking by this location. .
1.There is already a beer and wine market'in the front of this location.
2. The owner of this property who is applying for beer & wine license and
also the 7-Eleven Inc or any of its representatives who are also applying for
beer & wine don't live in this high crime area. They need to come and live
. here and see how it feels. A lot of homeless people are sitting in front of the
liquor stores or 7-Eleven they play scratchers and drink alcohol outside

these premises. It's not that safe to pass by these location's.
• 3. More than a hundred reside had signed the petition to oppose the
license @ this location for beor and wine. Alot more want to sign as well.

The City of Rosemead Planning Commission, and 7-11, would like to
bend the rules to allow ANOTHER liquor store in our neighborhood. By . •
allowing a 24 hour liquor store to operate in our neighborhood, they are -
knowingly allowing an area that has higher than average crime for the
city of Rosemead, to attract even MORE crime. In their-own staff report,
dated July 20, 2015, •

the city acknowledges that our neighborhood already-has a higher than.
average crime rate and concentration of alcohol licenses. Their solution
is to "borrow" and unused license from another part of the city.
A public meeting is planned for Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 6-•
8 pm, at the proposed site — Corner of Valley and Temple City Blvd. •

All neighbors concernedwith an increase in crime, and that feel that of
all the businesses possible at this location, another 7-11 (or any liquor •
