The special meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Low at 7:03 p.m.
in the Rosemead City Hall Conference Room located at 8838 East Valley Boulevard, Rosemead,
California.
PRESENT: Mayor Low, Mayor Pro Tem Ly, Council Members Armenta, Clark
ABSENT: Council Member Alarcon

Council Member Armenta requested new questions be developed for future
Commission/Committee interviews.
ACTION: Moved by Mayor Pro Tem Ly and seconded by Council Member Clark
to reappoint John Tang, Daniel Lopez, and Diana Herrera to the Planning
Commission for a 2 year term. The motion carried unanimously by the following
vote: AYES: Armenta, Clark, Ly, Low ABSENT: Alarcon

ACTION: Moved by Mayor Pro Tem Ly and seconded by Council Member
Armenta to reappoint Ed Quintanilla and appoint Julio Sevilla and James Berry to
the Traffic Commission for a 2 year term. The motion carried unanimously by the
following vote: AYES: Armenta, Clark, Ly, Low ABSENT: Alarcon
ACTION: Moved by Mayor Pro Tem Ly and seconded by Council Member
Armenta to reappoint Brian Lewin and Can Hai Liu to the Beautification
Committee for a 2 year term. The motion carried unanimously by the following
vote: AYES: Armenta, Clark, Ly, Low ABSENT: Alarcon
