RE: STATUS REPORT- SB 63 (SOLIS)AND SB 64 (SOLIS)
Pursuant to the City Council's request for additional information at the January 26 City Council
meeting, staff contacted Senator Solis' office for clarification. The Senator's Sacramento office
referred staff to the United Transportation Union for information regarding the San Bernardino
carpool lane and promised to fax additional information concerning the bill on diabetes supplies and
education. To date, staff has not received the additional information from the United Transportation
Union or Senator Solis' office. When that information arrives,this item will be placed on the agenda
for additional Council consideration.
