RE: AWARD OF BID FOR REPLACEMENT OF CITY VEHICLE - UNIT#1
The 1999-2000 City Budget includes funds for the replacement of Unit#1. In order to take
advantage of year-end sales and rebates, staff solicited bids from six dealers. The results are as
follows:
O'Donnell Chevrolet-Buick $23,865.85
Assael Buick $25,469.86
Alhambra Pontiac/GMC/Buick $27,580.73
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Rosemead City Council award the bid to O'Donnell Chevrolet Buick
in the amount of$23,865.85 and authorize staff to purchase the extended warranty in the amount
of$1,540.00.
