ROSEMEAD CITY COUNCIL
DECEMBER 18, 1997
The regular meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Imperial at 5:35
p.m. in the Conference Room of the City Hall, 8838 E. Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California.
The Pledge to the Flag was led by Mayor Pro Tem Bruesch
The Invocation was delivered by Councilmember Taylor
ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS:
Present: Councilmembers Taylor, Vasquez, Mayor Pro Tern Bruesch, and Mayor
Imperial
Absent: Councilmember Clark- excused
I. CONSIDERATION OF SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR EMPLOYEES
FORMERLY REPRESENTED BY LOCAL 347, SEN
MOTION BY MAYOR PRO TEM BRUESCH, SECOND BY COUNCILMAN
VASQUEZ that the Council authorize the City Manager to take the following action: 1) Grant
those employees formerly represented by Local 347, Service Employees International Union at
3% COLA retroactive from November 1, 1996 through October 21, 1997; and 2) a 3% COLA
effective November 1, 1997. Vote resulted:
Aye: Vasquez, Taylor, Imperial, Bruesch
No: None
Absent: Clark
Abstain: None
The Mayor declared said motion duly carried and so ordered.
