RE: APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZATION TO SEEK BIDS FOR STORM DRAIN
IMPROVEMENTS IN SAN GABRIEL BOULEVARD
The subject project includes construction of storm drain mainline in San Gabriel Boulevard,
extending from the existing storm drain at Newmark Avenue to approximately 100 feet
south of Garvalia Avenue.
The proposed schedule for construction is as follows:
Receive Bids September 11, 1997
Award Contract September 23, 1997
Begin Work November 3, 1997
Complete Work November 21, 1997
The specifications have been reviewed and are acceptable to the City Engineer. The
Engineer's estimate for construction is $165,000.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Redevelopment Agency approve the plans and specifications
and authorize advertisement for bids by the Agency Secretary.
