MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
ROSEMEAD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
SEPTEMBER 23, 1997
The regular meeting of the Rosemead Agency was called to order by Chairman Imperial
at 7:05 p.m. in the conference room of City Hall, 8838 E. Valley Boulevard, Rosemead,
California.
The Pledge to the Flag was led by Agencymember Vasquez
The Invocation was led by Chairman Imperial

TAYLOR that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 9, 1997, be approved as
submitted. Vote resulted:

1. RRA RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 23 CLAIMS AND DEMANDS
The following Resolution was presented to the Agency for adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 97-23 - CLAIMS AND DEMANDS
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD ALLOWING CERTAIN CLAIMS AND DEMANDS IN THE
SUM OF $55,282.94 AND DEMANDS NO. 4732 THROUGH 4850.
MOTION BY VICE-CHAIRMAN BRUESCH, SECOND BY AGENCYMEMBER
VASQUEZ that the Agency adopt Resolution No. 97-23. Vote resulted:

2. ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT - STORM DRAIN
IMPROVEMENTS IN SAN GABRIEL BOULEVARD; NEWMARK AVENUE TO
GARVALIA AVENUE

MOTION BY AGENCYMEMBER TAYLOR, SECOND BY AGENCYMEMBER
VASQUEZ that the Agency accept the bids and award the project to Southern California
Underground Contractors, Inc., in the amount of$149,598.00; and authorize the Chairman to
sign the contract on behalf of the Agency. Vote resulted:

Abstain: None

3. SCHEDULING OF STUDY SESSION REGARDING GARVEY AVENUE
COMMUNITY CENTER AND SENIOR HOUSING PROJECT
The Study Session is scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, 1997, at 6:30 p.m. in the
Conference Room at City Hall.

There being no further action to be taken at this time, the meeting was adjourned at 7:10
