DATE: JULY 10, 2018 SUBJECT: ICMA 104TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE —SEPTEMBER 23RD — 26TH— BALTIMORE, MARYLAND MD SUMMARY The City Council will consider authorizing the attendance of City Manager who wishes to attend the ICMA 104TH Annual Conference in Baltimore, Maryland MD, on September 23`d -26th STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the attendance, at City expense, of City Manager that wishes to attend the ICMA 104th Annual Conference in Baltimore, Maryland MD, on September 23`d-26 h. ANALYSIS The Expense and Use of Public Resources Policy, adopted by City Council Resolution No. 2005- 47, requires prior City Council approval for out-of-state travel beyond an adjacent state. Funding for this purpose is contained in the City's annual budget. PUBLIC NOTICE PROCESS This item has been noticed through the regular agenda notification process.
